Lindsey Theis

Health and Wellness Reporter

Lindsey Theis (which rhymes with "peace") is an award-winning storyteller who joined Newsy as a health and wellness reporter in 2018. She came to Newsy after working at WGN and CNN. Most recently, she was a local TV anchor and reporter in Omaha, Nebraska. There, Lindsey covered everything from the 2014 Ebola epidemic to goat yoga. Her dream story would be doing a workout with Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Her favorite part about reporting is being able to give a platform for patients to share their stories and voices. Outside of news, Lindsey's a theater and comedy nerd; she performs and teaches improv comedy and helps run a comedy nonprofit she co-founded, Big Canvas improv.
