At just 20 years old, Malala Yousafzai is a United Nations messenger of peace and a Nobel Peace Prize laureate — so what's next for the education advocate?

College. Yousafzai announced Thursday on Twitter she is "so excited" to be going to Oxford University.

She plans to study philosophy, politics and economics.

Yousafzai's acceptance at Oxford was contingent on the results of her A-Level exams. In the U.K., most colleges offer prospective undergraduate students a "conditional offer" of acceptance, which stays in place so long as the student earns specified grades on their exams.

Oxford churns out lots of important political figures. Former U.S. President Bill Clinton and former U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron are two well-known names who've studied that same course at Oxford.

College acceptance is just one more accomplishment Yousafzai can add to her year's list.

Besides becoming the youngest U.N. messenger of peace ever, she also became the sixth person to ever receive honorary Canadian citizenship.
