Elon Musk's Boring Company has a new game plan.
Musk tweeted Friday that instead of focusing on transportation for cars, the company will prioritize mass transport for pedestrians and cyclists — at least at first.
The Boring Company's goals are to help ease traffic in cities by digging networks of underground tunnels for transportation and to lower the cost of that process.
Musk said the change in plans is about courtesy and fairness — he wants the system to work for all people, not just those who can afford a car.
