More than a dozen companies from several industries say they're cutting ties with the National Rifle Association.

People are calling for a boycott of the gun rights advocacy group and those that do business with it after the deadly school shooting in Florida. The hashtag #BoycottNRA gained momentum this week.

A number of rental car firms including Enterprise and Hertz announced they're ending special offer deals they have with the NRA.

Symantec, a cybersecurity firm, and insurance company MetLife also said they're stopping their discount programs.

First National Bank of Omaha, which issues the NRA Visa card, is also severing ties. The NRA has not responded.
