After years working at a D.C. think tank where her political science background took focus away from her artistic ambitions, Marina Temkin left to pursue her passion as a professional potter. Now she runs Whim and Vigor Ceramics, a studio in the city where she sells her creations.
"I felt like I wanted to do something more instead of just sitting in front of a computer all day," she says.
