It was the crime of the century, or maybe just the month of February, but either way, Tom Brady's long-lost jersey has been located.

According to the NFL, Brady's game-worn jersey from the 2017 Super Bowl as well as his game-worn jersey from the 2015 Super Bowl were both found in Mexico in the possession of "a credentialed member of the international media."

It was the theft that launched a thousand investigations.

Since the national treasure went missing, the New England Patriots, Houston Police Department, Texas Rangers, Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and the FBI have all been involved in the search for the missing jersey.

"It's unfortunate because that's a nice piece of memorabilia, so if someone sees it on eBay, let me know," Brady said during a press conference.

And while that may seem excessive, the Houston police did value the 2017 jersey at half a million dollars and classified the theft as a first-degree felony.

No word on the identity of the suspect or if they'll be prosecuted. But considering the suspect managed to steal two game-worn Super Bowl jerseys and take them across the border, we're going to assume that someone, somewhere will be pressing charges.
